White Water World on the Gold Coast

The days of one park, one ticket are well behind us. Today, families are able to get more bang for their bucks – and more thrills – with multipark passes. The latest ‘kid on the block’ on the Gold Coast theme park strip is WhiteWater World, located right next door to Dreamworld and designed to complement the old favourite. While you can buy a single day ticket to this waterpark, it makes economical sense to buy a two-day ticket, which gets you into both parks over a period of two weeks.

As the name suggests, WhiteWater World is a high tech water park, with extreme waterslides, family-friendly pools and plenty of slippery action.

It’s designed to make the most of the Queensland sunshine, and pays homage to all things associated with Australian beach culture, from surfing to dogs playing in the sand.

There’s something for everyone at WhiteWater World, from relaxing in a beachside location to high octane adventure on the hottest waterslides on the planet. Kids can splash and play at Wiggles World, or be set loose in the wacky confines of Nickelodeon’s Pipeline Plunge, while there’s also plenty of action to keep teenagers happy.

While it’s always fun in the sun, WhiteWater World is one of the most shaded waterparks in the world. Walkways are made from a special material that absorbs minimal heat, and shade structures are installed in all rest areas and food outlets.

Getting There

Safety First?

WhiteWater World has worked in conjunction with the Royal Life Saving Society of Australia to create a fully accredited Waterpark Lifeguard Qualification and Training program, which means there are qualified lifeguards on hand specifically trained in rescue methods for the rides, systems and equipment in the park.
