Terms and Conditions

By participating in the Great Summer Getaway Competition, you agree to and accept DriveNow's Standard Terms and Conditions, as well as the following Competition Terms and Conditions ('the Competition Terms')

  1. The Competition is open to all DriveNow.com.au customers aged 21 or over with a full licence.
  2. The Competition runs from [date time] to [date time] ("the Competition Period"). To enter, participants must make a car rental booking via www.drivenow.com.au during the Competition Period and signup to DriveNow's newsletter.
  3. Entries will be limited to 5 per customer. The first 5 bookings made in chronological order will be entered into the final drawer.
  4. 20 winners will be selected at random to have their car hire rental charge payment refunded.
  5. If a car rental booking is cancelled during the Competition Period the corresponding entry will be void.
  6. The amount to be refunded is the the vehicle rental charge only. All ancillary products such as excess reduction, baby/infant/child seats, GPS, additional driver fees, young-age driver fees, toll charges, windscreen damage, premium roadside assistance, security bond amounts and all other extra items are excluded from the prize.
  7. The maximum amount to be refunded will be the amount of the booking as originally booked with DriveNow, or $500, whichever is the lesser amount. Changes made after the initial booking will be ignored for the purpose of calculating the refund.
  8. All rentals must be completed and invoices forwarded to DriveNow before payment refund will be made.
  9. Customers are responsible for ensuring they comply with all the suppliers' age and driver eligibility and rental terms and conditions. Refusal of rental by the car supplier will result in the prize being withdrawn and the entry will be void.
  10. Winners will be picked at random using the paid Random Drawing paid service at random.org
  11. The winners will be contacted by DriveNow.com.au within five days of the end of the Competition Period.
  12. Participants must hold and Australian or New Zealand bank account. The car rental payment will be refunded by direct deposit bank transfer once we have your Australian or New Zealand bank account details. Payment will not be made by any other method.
  13. The prize is not transferable and no alternative cash prizes will be offered.
  14. The winners must claim their prize within 30 days of being contacted by Drivenow.com.au. In the event the winners fail to claim their prize within the time limit or are otherwise disqualified from the draw, that prize will be withdrawn and the entry will be void.
  15. DriveNow.com.au accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault.
  16. DriveNow.com.au decision is final and binding on the entrants. No correspondence will be entered into.
