You need to select other important components for your road trip. When making your booking open the Price Details view which will list the additional products and services available from the chosen RV provider. Some of these need to be pre-booked and whilst each provider has differing inclusions, typically you can expect to see items such as:

  • Mileage Packs
  • Excess Insurance Reduction options
  • Bedding Packs (Personal Kits)
  • Kitchen Packs (Vehicle Provisioning Kits)
  • Shuttle Transfers
  • Morning priority departure
  • Early Bird Departure Specials - designated hotel pick-up and early/late vehicle pick-up and drop-off
  • Generator use – when not using a Camp Ground Powered site
  • Ancillary items – GPS, snow chain, coffee machine, toaster, folding chair etc rental

Mileage packs are an important option to look at as they are much cheaper to pre-purchase, although there is no refund on unused mileage.

Also listed will be any specials or discount options that you can apply to your booking.

Where to take your RV Rental in Nevada?

Sitting in the southern pocket of Nevada, Vegas has long been a popular starting point for road trips within easy reach of Arizona and southern California. However, you definitely don’t want to be rushing out of Nevada in a hurry.

Head north and you'll find the state capital, Carson City, Reno and the stunning Lake Tahoe. The sapphire surface of Lake Tahoe makes for a great photograph opportunity, surrounded as it is by dense alpine forest, sky-piercing mountains, and a light blanket of velvety snow.

Nicknamed 'The Silver State' after the Silver Rush that occurred in the area during the mid-19th century, Nevada is home to many of America's most famous landmarks. Straddling the Nevada/Arizona border the Hoover Dam, which required the manpower of over 22,000 workers and five hard years to complete in the 1930s, remains a fantastic spectacle. The Grand Canyon, whilst in neighbouring Arizona, is a few hours drive east and is a natural wonder that needs little introduction - this winding feature snakes for 227 miles and is home to over 1,500 plants found only in the Canyon itself.

In the east of the state, pay a visit to the Great Basin National Park. Here you will find the towering Wheeler Peak, a 5,000 year-old tree and vast sprawls of mountains, forest and an elaborate network of caves, which became impromptu speakeasies during the Prohibition era.

There are plenty of extraordinary road trips to be had across the state, here are just a handful.

  • Explore the Free Range Art Highway. With a slight "pre-tour" detour south to visit the Seven Magic Mountains, head north on Highway 15 to Reno for ghostly encounters in the Goldwell Open Air Museum and Robert Bob’s Art Car Park.
  • Dare to Dive into the Death Drive. If you’re looking for the ultimate adventure, why not embark on one of Nevada’s most famous routes into the Death Valley National Park.
  • Explore the Great Basin National Park. From spectacular alpine lakes to limestone caverns, a small glacier, the world's oldest living trees and some of the darkest skies in the lower 48, Great Basin is chock-full of national treasures yet remains one of the least visited areas in eastern Nevada.
  • Explore Rubies Route In the north east of Nevada and discover lush green valleys and meadows, glacier carved peaks and canyons, quaint small towns, blue lakes, mighty mountains and plenty of flora and fauna to take your breath away.
  • Self-Drive the Neon to Nature tour. From the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead to the Valley of Fire, Red Rock Canyon and Boulder City, unlimited opportunities and mysterious landmarks await you on this beautiful Neon to Nature Route experience through Nevada.
  • Is this America's most beautiful drive? Find out why so many people feel that way having travelled the Lake Tahoe Scenic Route. Anything but predictable and always magical, this trip is all about majestic mountains, dreamy lakes and some fascinating little towns along the way.

Of course, no trip to Nevada would be complete without a visit to the famous Las Vegas Strip. The bright lights, huge neon signs and iconic casinos join hands with the latest restaurants, finest hotels and pretty much everything else you could want - all on one street and perfect to explore before picking up your RV.
