Located halfway between Brisbane and Sydney, Tamworth is a top destination for country music lovers. It’s known as the Country Music Capital of Australia, and every year in January the city hosts the world’s second biggest country music festival, the Tamworth Country Music Festival.

Apart from the region’s scenic drives, museums, gardens and parks, and the famous 12-metre high Golden Guitar, which has been photographed an estimated 3.6 million times, Tamworth’s restaurants showcase the region’s best produce and wine. With Tamworth’s town centre only a few minutes walk away, the Paradise Tourist Park is city’s most central holiday and caravan park.
